Joke has a Bachlor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine, majoring in Acupuncture, and has a diploma in Swedish massage.

Originally from Holland Joke has called New Zealand (New Zealand) home for over 30 years.

​

She has worked as a massage therapist for over 20 years, and in 2011 completed a Bachlor's Degree in Heath Science, majoring in Acupuncture. Since early 2012 she has been combining acupuncture with massage.

​

When not working she spends much of her free time in the outdoors tramping, walking, skiing, or kayaking.
